Peter Jalkotzy is the CEO and Founder of NextGen Power Group Ltd., established in 2020 to pursue energy projects that deliver reliable, accessible, and affordable clean energy. At the core of NextGen’s mission is the recognition that the most effective solutions create value across multiple dimensions—technical, economic, social, and environmental—while meeting the urgent need for sustainable energy systems.

We repurpose existing energy infrastructure for clean energy production and use. From natural gas, to renewable natural gas, to biogas, we transform these molecules into high value products and services including alternative fuels, hydrogen, and solid carbon.

Now in his 45th year of professional practice, Peter brings a unique and highly valued perspective shaped by a career rooted in wildlife biology, environmental law, and regulatory approvals. With extensive experience in securing and managing complex infrastructure approvals across energy, water, mining, and transportation sectors, he has earned a reputation for integrating sound science, practical application, and strategic insight. Backed by a professional community of over 10,000 peers, Peter continues to guide innovative projects that bridge the gap between legacy systems and the clean energy future.
